Frame Server 26.10.6
Fixed:
Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor could intermittently disappear while using certain applications, such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), without needing to enable mouse trails as a workaround. [FRAME-1798]
Fixed an issue where the I-beam (text selection) cursor disappeared when hovering over text input fields in applications such as SSMS or Notepad++ while connected to another machine over RDP from within a Frame session. [FRAME-1787]
Fixed an issue where server log files could grow to multiple gigabytes and fill the system drive when a malformed message was encountered. Logged message content is now size-limited during error handling. [FRAME-1819]
Frame Guest Agent 2.5.1
Fixed:
Fixed an issue where Session Analytics did not display System Health metrics (CPU, Disk, Memory) on Windows images using a non-English OS language (e.g., German or Dutch). This also removes the session start delay caused by repeated attempts to repair Windows Performance Counters. [FRAME-1802]
Overlay File System (OFS) Driver 1.5.14
Fixed:
Fixed an issue where OFS log files could consume large amounts of disk space. Logging now defaults to the WARN level, with log rotation and message throttling enabled. [FRAME-1793]
Logging behavior can be adjusted with the following registry values under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\OFS\Parameters:
Value | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
OverlayFS_LogLevel | Minimum log level written to the log file | WARN |
OverlayFS_MaxLogFileCount | Number of rotated log files retained | 10 |
OverlayFS_MaxLogFileEntries | Maximum entries per log file (max 2000) | 500 |
OverlayFS_Disable_LogMsg_Throttle | Disables log message throttling | No (throttling enabled) |
Frame Printer Driver 1.7.1
Fixed:
Fixed an issue where printing or downloading a file whose name contained non-ASCII characters (e.g., German umlauts such as ä, ö, ü, ß) caused all subsequent file downloads and print jobs to fail for the rest of the session. File names, host names, and user names encoded in Windows-1252 and Windows-1251 are now handled correctly in addition to UTF-8. [FRAME-1853]
