Action Required by Nov 30, 2026: Dizzion Connection Domain Is Changing from nutanix.com to difr.com
As communicated via email on Tuesday, October 6th, the nutanix.com domain is being retired. Effective November 30, 2026, difr.com will officially replace nutanix.com as the connection URL domain for Frame. This is part of a platform and server deployment change on our end, and it requires one corresponding action from your team: whitelisting difr.com at your firewall before that date.
What you need to do
Whitelist the domain: Add difr.com to your firewall's allowed outbound list, the same way nutanix.com is allowed today. Your Frame connection URL will take the form of your organization's specific subdomain (for example, yourcompany.difr.com). If your firewall rules are scoped to exact hostnames rather than the whole domain, confirm the exact subdomain assigned to your environment and whitelist that hostname specifically.
Allow the same protocols you allow today: Frame connections use HTTPS and Secure WebSocket (WSS) over TLS (Frame Remoting Protocol 7.0), or WebRTC over UDP with DTLS (Frame Remoting Protocol 8.0). Make sure these are permitted for the new difr.com domain, not just nutanix.com.
Review the networking documentation for your deployment: Our public Platform Administrator's Guide covers the networking requirements for each deployment model (public cloud, private networking, private networking with SGA, and VPN configurations): docs.difr.com – Platform Administrator's Guide – Networking. Since firewall configurations vary by organization, please have your network or security team confirm the exact steps against your existing ruleset. The specifics will depend on how your environment is currently configured.
Test before the cutover: Once difr.com is whitelisted, verify that a test connection to your Frame environment succeeds, so you can confirm access ahead of the November 30th cutover date.
