Frame Gateway 12.5.0
Added:
[GCP] Add basic support for G4 instances
Basic support for GCP G4 instances powered by the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition is now available in Early Access for selected GCP regions.
Customers can begin using G4 instances for their Frame accounts; however, mixing G4 instances with other GCP instance types within the same account is not supported. To enable G4 support, all virtual machines and user sessions within the account must run exclusively on G4 instances. Attempting to mix G4 with non-G4 instance types may result in failed session starts.
Frame Console 4.44.0
Added:
Allow administrators to select the target VPC and subnet when creating AHV v4 accounts
Announcement #1: Release Schedule Update
This release will be deployed on Sunday 18th of January 2026, due to the deployment freeze period and the holiday session.
Announcement #2: Google Authentication – Backend Migration
We are introducing a new backend implementation for Login with Google, following the same approach previously adopted for API, SAT, and SAML2 authentication. All components required for the new Google authentication backend have already been deployed to production.
This release includes a few minor fixes and completes the transition to have Google authentication handled directly by IAM, part of the Console. The authentication flow will no longer rely on IMG.
The user migration and activation of the new backend will occur on Monday, one day after the production deployment. This schedule aligns with operational best practices, ensuring enhanced monitoring and full team availability during the transition.
From the user interface perspective, there are no visible changes—the login experience remains unchanged.
