Frame Gateway 12.3.0
Added:
When a customer initiates an Availability Zone (AZ) switch on an account with suspended Persistent Desktop VMs, the request will fail with an explanatory message, since suspended sessions must first be resumed, closed, and released before their VMs can be stopped, backed up, and recreated in the target zone.
Frame Console 4.42.0
Added:
The SAML Permissions tab now applies to the search term across all fields (not just the description) and includes the ability to order entries by status, with behavior verified across all existing columns [FRAME-1733]
The session color space setting (YUV444/YUV420) is now visible in Session Details, reflecting the actual value applied to the active session.
Fixed:
Account name sorting has been updated so that switching the sort field to Name now defaults to ascending alphabetical order, eliminating the need for customers to manually adjust the sort direction. [FRAME-1746]
The domain prefix in the CPanel Domain Settings page now saves correctly and no longer reverts to the default “Frame-,” regardless of whether it is saved alone or together with other settings. [FRAME-1731]
Updated:
The label for Frame Accounts still using FRP7 has been updated to a red, high-visibility warning displaying: “FRP7 reached EOL on June 30th, 2024. Starting February 1st, 2026, all FRP7 sessions will be blocked and will no longer start. Please migrate to FRP8 immediately to avoid service disruption.” This ensures customers are clearly informed that FRP7 functionality will stop entirely on February 1st, 2026.
Frame Terminal v7.10.0
Fixed:
Keyboard input on secondary displays now correctly preserves Unicode-based layouts (e.g., Serbian, German); previously, missing event data caused the layout to revert to default when typing characters such as ö, ć, or č etc.
Frame Experimental v8.0.0rc1.11
Fixed:
Experimental Terminal now correctly applies the YUV444 setting during session negotiation.
Keyboard input on secondary displays now correctly preserves Unicode-based layouts (e.g., Serbian, German); previously, missing event data caused the layout to revert to default when typing characters such as ö, ć, or č etc.
Announcement: Authentication Flow Update (C3 / SAML2)
As part of the ongoing deprecation of IMG and the migration to the new IAM infrastructure (http://difr.com domain), the C3 authentication flow has been re-routed.
Previously, C3 SAML2 authentication was handled via IMG. With this release, the flow is updated so that:
Frame now routes “Sign in with Dizzion C3” through IAM instead of IMG
IAM then brokers the authentication flow with C3
In the C3 portal, “Go to Frame” now points directly to IAM, not IMG
This is an architectural change only. There is no expected functional or user-facing behavior change.
This is one of several planned steps toward full IMG decommissioning and consolidation under the new IAM backend
